come into possession of a billion tons
of German shipping, which will he em-
ployed in revlctaulizlnK devasted por-
tions of France, Serbia, Belgium and
Rumania, now in destitute of food.
GREAT POULTRY SHOW
AT DALLAS DEC. 26-30
(By Associated Press)
Dallas, Texas, Dec. 21.—Plans are
under way for the first annual Texas
Poultry Show, to be held here Dec.
26 to .'10. The state experiment sta-
tion will he represented with an exhibit.
A feature of the show will be the daily
auction of poultry for funds to estab-
lish a poultry breeding farm in France.
A France and Belgium are said to
have practically exhausted their poul-
try. Texas is anxious to help in the
work.

IS LIVING AND IN FRANCE
About three weeks 'ago, the wife of
Uept. J. Buck Wynne, of Wills Point,
received a telegram stating that l.ieut.
Wynne had died of pneumonia, in
France. But Mrs. Wynne htivlng re-
ceived letters from her husband in the
Mechanic Ray Hartshorn, Falfurrias j meantime, decided there must be some
