oi' th. Austin office
Most of thi.. increase is due t<>
changes in the law, which drasti-
cally reduced the rcouirements ror
eligibility. Under the new rules
payments can be made in many
cuses as little as •> quarters--
that's I and one-half years
in jobs covered by the law.
The ne'.v eligibility rule applies to
types of cases:
1. Retired worker- past the age
o. 65.
2. Survivors of workers who
have died since August, l!>50.

a large number of workers, many

now qualify for payments. The tnu-

there are many in -lie Centex area

Thi Administration can make

Fach month's delay in filing a
claim means an additional month's
benefits lost.
Show Herds Of All
Beef Cattle Will Be
Exhibited At Fair
Show herds of all beef and dairy
cuttle breeds shown at the 1951
State Fair of Texas will be on
exhibit through the opening 14
days of the fair, Oct. tt-19, Live
stock Munager Ruy Wilson has
annoinced,
Because the fair has such
lengthy run, muny fairgoers have
missed seeing their favorite breed
because its show was over or
hadn't yet begun on the day they
visited the fair.
Beef and dairy cattle shows are
held separately — beef cattle be
ing shown Oct. 6-12, and dairy
cattle Oct. 12-19 this year.
Show herds of Guernseys, Hoi-
stein-Friesians, Jerseys and Milk
ing Shorthorns will be on ex
hibit during the beef cattle shows,
and top herds of Hereford, Aber
deen-Angus, Shorthorns and Brah
mans will remain in the cattle
harns during the dairy show. This
i made possible through per.i-
ti.iti of breed associations and
¡•romi' ent breeders, Wilson said.
In addition, there will be exhibí-

You never tried a fine car
like This One
♦

YOuVb « right to set your sights
higher when you buy n fine car.
ftbu can rightly expect more room
—more comfort—more performance
—and u lordly smoothness in the way
h carries you.
So wc present these facts:
You'll find, in a Roadm aster, more
usable room than you'll find in any
other six-passenger car in A merica.
You'll find the extra comfort of
double-depth Foam t ex cush i o us in
Ro t DMAsrnn only.
You'll find that the Ro utMjsTi:if has
a high-cornftression, valve-in-liead
potcwr plant that is also exclusively
It nick's — a mighty i irehall I 'nginc
endowed with more performance
than most owners will ever need.
A nd you'll find that a Rom mister
rolls with unsurpassed levelness and
poise, thanks to coil springs on all
fonr wheels — which is still another
feature found on no other car in the
fine-car field.
But the thrill that is yours, when you
get this willing beauty out on the
open road, is something that can't be
summed up in any listing of features,
one by one.
It's a "feel" which, we hon-
es! ly believe,no other car can
approach.
It's the sure way this ilii/./Hng
performer holds the road—the way it
responds to your slightest wish—the
quick answer you get when you nudge
the throttle—the extra security you
feel in the velvet grip of the brakes—
the complete freedom from tension
you find in Dynaflow Drive —the
sense of mastery that makes every
mile a joy.
And. confidentially, there's one
more important way in which
Roaomastfr stands alone, and that
is in the modest cost of its pounds and
performance.
Better come in soon and check for
yourself what a great car and a great
buy this one really is.
