David, youngest of the Haines
biothers of College Station, was
the last to wear a certain histonc
pair of Texas Aggie senior boots.
The boots—a coveted part of a
Texas A. A M. cadet's uniform-
were made in 1940 for Paul Haines
Jr., cadet lieutenant colonel, 2nd
in command of the Aggie Cadet
Corps.
Paul wore the boots in a tradi-
tional final review in June 1941.
They passed to Lamar, a younger
brother, who wore them as an
lie hearing will be held in Council
Chamber of The City of Caldwell,
Texas on June 12th, 1951, at 7:30
o'clock p. m. At such hearing any
tax payer of the City of Caldwell,
