Annie Settlemeyer who survives
him with the following children:
Donavan, Harrell, Bradwick and
Miss Bee Newcoinb all residing
in ('aidwell. He leaves the fol-
lowing sisters: Mrs. W. E
May and Mrs Lizzie llass of San
Antonio, Mrs. John May of Cher
okee, Texas, Mrs. Ora Marber of
Bay City, and one brotner, T.
B. Newconib of Austin, nil be-
ing present at his funeral.
Death of Josrph Kadanka,
Saturday night Joseph Kad
danka died su Idenly at his home
near Tunis and the remains were
buried in the Providence ceme-
tery Sunday afternoon. The
services at the house weie con-
ducted in Bohemian by William
Zalobuey and concluded at the
| grave by Rev. W. S. Lackey.
• Deceased was burn in Pribam,
[Moravia, Auaaia—Hungary, on
March 3rd, 1NM8. At the age of
-o he was happily man led there
to Miss Aloir.ie Dubsik. In 1S70-
they came to Texas since which
time they lived 2years at Wesley*
Washington county, 1 year at
Cookea Point and the* rest of the
time at the homestead where he
died, Besides his wife he leaves
surviving him the following
children, all grown: .Mrs. Bettie
Fillip, Mrs. Itta Blazek, County
Superintendent Frank kadanka
and three grand children of Mrs.
Pol lie Urbanovaky, He wa3 an
honorable, hard working man-
liked by all who knew him.
