One could not estimate the size
of a wish, and yet we know a few
of them fill a human heart.
e
Men with a push should go up
hill. Men who push downhill
usually end by skinning their
noses.
A woman who wears paste-
diamonds is much more prouder
than one with the real tiara
It takes a life time of practice
to hit the small bull's-eye of suc-
cess with the target rifle of effort.
A willing team is where the off
horse pulls the near horse and the
near horse is willing to be pulled.
As a rule people do not have
much trouble in getting servants
—but in keeping them. That's
different.
A college education is worth a
lot to a young man who is willing
to learn a business when he grad-
uates.
There are people in this world
who seem to care more for what
people think of them than what
they really are.
It is impossible for you to choose
your ancestors, but you can pick
half of your children's if the right
girl is willing.
With the advanced cost of liv-
ing, it bears down hard when a
young man has to spend SI.68 for
a diamond engagement ring.
No Use to Die.
"I have found that there is no
use to die of lung trouble as long
as you can get Dr. King's New
Discovery," says Mrs. J. P. White
of Rush boro, Pa. *'1 would not
be alive today only for that won-
derful medicine, It loosens up
a cough quicker than any thing
else, and cures lung disease even
after the case is pronounced
hopeless." This most reliable
remedy for coughs and colds, la-
grippe, asthma, bronchitis and
hoarseness, is sold under guaran-
tee at Will Marr's drug store.

Letter to R. Dees,
ASPKRMONT, TBXAS.
Dear Sir: We asked City Drug
Co. Crystal Springs, Miss, to sell
Devoe. They wanted to know
of their own knowledge, how it
compared with another paint
they knew all about—it was sold
right there, and considered good.
They painted the house of W.
B. McCluney two coats on pur-
pose to test the two paints against
one-another: one coat Devoe 6
gallons: the other <~oat that other
paint 10 gallons. Difference S20;
S7 for paint $13 for labor.
That other paint is made in
New Orleans; is pure; is consider-
ed an excellent paint, and has a
good deal of local goodwill.
But the standard of paint has
been low all through the south-
west. That paint is this, it is,
you see, six-tenths of a paint.
Devoe saves S20 over it on half a
small job.
It is a case of local best com-
pared wiih actual best.
Yours truly
F. W. Devoe & Co.

Best Healer In the World.
Rev. F. Stardird, of East Ray-
mond, Maine, says: "I have used
Bucklen's Arnica Salve forseveral
years, on my old army wound,
and other obstinate sores, and
find it the best healer in the
world. I use it too with great
success in my verterinary busi-
ness.'" Price 25c. at Will Marr's
drug store.
