Sure you re
not too
TIRED?
HAIL TO THE PANHANDLE
At your last state convention in Wichita Ka 1 Ik.
it seemed to us that the enthusiasm, especially at
the luncheon and in the group singing, was greater
than we had ever seen.
We can imagine that your spirits will he high
at the Panhandle area meeting in Borger. And why
shouldn't this bé so? You have a charming hostess
chapter and fine members with all of life stretching
out ahead so alluringly. You have the heritage ot
lhe great State of Texas and the friendliness of
the West and the South combined.
International Offices have good news to send
you f-om the Panhandle—Margaret Scarborough of
Amarillo will become a member of the International
Field Staff in January, 1941. You will agree that
the Panhandle has given Beta Sigma Phi a really
rare gift!
We wish we could be with you, but we cannot
except, in spirit and in that sense we shall surely
be with everyone of you.
It wculd be great fun to be actually there and
to hear those words for which Texans are noted
the world over, words which Ixpress to us the tjuint-
tssence of hospitality, "Hurry back."
