Root In Impressive Morning Ceremony
New Club Rooms Scene Of
Century Club's Luncheon
A decade of dreaming was turned into reality yester-
day afternoon a member of the Twentieth Century
club invited guest* to dine with them in the federated
club rooms in the new library building recently completed,
the first social event to be held in the long-needed, spa-
cious, beautifully finished room.
The affair, the club's annual spring luncheon, was
a happy occasion for the 80 guests who assembled, all
of whom cast admiring glances and had nothing but
words of praise to utter in approval of the gigantic
project, launched and carried through by the Century
club, with the assistance of county commissioner .
Attracting enthusiastic comment was the new grand
piano, installed by the Bcirge r Music club. On either
side of the beautiful piece of furniture were two large
white baskets filled with red
and white carnations.
