DEMOCRACY NOT SO AIMLESS
One of the chief criticisms of democracy these days
i.s that ij is fuzzy. By that is meant that the aims and intent
of democracy the less clear than those of the various kinds
of blueprint dictatorships.
No doubt one of the chief sources of strength of djcta-
toVshipa is that (at first, anyway) they know exactly where
they are going. Later on they may not be so sure, but that
is another story.
With democracies, argue those who waver, it is dif-
ferent. The inference is that because democracies do not
have, and can not have, a blueprint for everything they
proppue tp accomplish within the next 20 years, they are «'county of hutchinson.
