The large group, which spans the length of the entire image, consists of men in suits, women in skirts and blouses, and children. Most of the people are looking toward the camera, however there are many people in the background walking around and looking elsewhere. There is a young boy in the foreground standing away from the group and posing with his eyes closed and his hands on his hips. There is a handwritten note on the back of the photograph that reads, "San Antonio 1st. 50th Anniversary 1/4/53".
