The 15-foot, 1,300-pound shark was caught offshore by a fisherman and his teen-
age daughter near Santa Cruz,' Calif. It remained alive about two hours after being
caught. The shark is the fifth and biggest shark captured off the northern Cali-
fornia coast since last Saturday. Fishermen said it was a black Manila type, usual-
