aged 26 about 0 feet tall dark hair and
res. small black moustache fair com-
plexion wore dark sack coat black pan-
taloons with small white stripes dark-

seen on Commerce street near Main
plaxa on Monday night February 11 at

Arrested Tor Tnleslng.
W. Simpson a colored man has for
aome time been stopping with Joe Clay
also colored on Cameron street. Simp-
son not being nble to pay his board de-
camped yesterday with his trunk and
carried offbooty at the same time In the
shape of three revolvers and some bed-
ding all of which belonged to Clay.
Captain Hughes and Officers Coy and
Abbey traced tho man to a houso on
Laredo street where he was found In
bed. One of the pistols he had stolen
was on the bureau close at his head
and the others were In the drawer.
Simpson was arrested and placed In the
county Jail.
