The friends of Colonel J. P. C. White-
head have solicited him to run for City
Attorney In April next and It Is under-
stood he has partly accepted. Allhon-
est citizens are delighted at the pros-
pects of having sueh a distinguished
gentlemen to run feeling that If elected
the city will have an able adviser and
one who will1 do honor to the Council.
