No. 1066 1 AN ACT 2 relating to the continuance of the municipal court technology fund 3 and the purposes for which the fund may be used. 4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 5 SECTION 1. Article 102.0172(d), Code of Criminal Procedure, 6 is amended to read as follows: 7 (d) A fund designated by this article may be used only to 8 finance the purchase of or to maintain technological enhancements 9 for a municipal court or municipal court of record, including: 10 (1) computer systems; 11 (2) computer networks; 12 (3) computer hardware; 13 (4) computer software; 14 (5) imaging systems; 15 (6) electronic kiosks; 16 (7) electronic ticket writers; and 17 (8) docket management systems. 18 SECTION 2. Article 102.0172(f), Code of Criminal Procedure, 19 is repealed. 20 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2003.
