J-.- S.. No. 17 AN ACT 2 relating to permissible uses of money in the comprehensive 3 rehabilitation fund. 4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OP TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subsection (b), Section 111.060, Human Resources 6 Code, is amended to read as follows: 7 (b) The comptroller, on requisition by the commission, 8 shall draw a warrant on the fund for the amount specified in that requisition for a use authorized in Section 111.052, except that 10 the total of warrants .issued during a state fiscal year may not 11 exceed the amount appropriated for that fiscal year. At the end of 12 each state fiscal year, the comptroller shall transfer to the 13 General Revenue Fund any unexpended balance in the 7 comprehensive 14 rehabilitation n fund that exceeds $1.5 million LA f. L . 15 SECTION 2. Subsection (d., Section 111.060, Human Resources 16 Code, is repealed. 17 SECTION 3 This Act takes effect immediately if it r eceives 18 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as 19 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this 20 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this 21 Act takes effect September 1, 2005.
