VOUR popularity may depend
I upon a clear, smooth, lovely
akin. It is the accepted way of
telling the degree of health a per-
son possesses. Naturally a skin
which bespeaks health attracts.
Skilled physicians recognise the
appearance of skin blemishes, lack
of appetite, flabby flesh and loss
of energy as an indication that the
body's power of resistance is
low—that there is a deficiency of
red-blood-cells.
The way to the akin is through
the blood. Strong, healthy blood
nourishes the body and promotes
smooth, clear akin.
\ PYMPA, Jan. 23.Constructlon of
\lfve-rtory building where the
Kapa National Bank now stands will
stah in the spring, according to pro-
posed plans announeed by 1. M. Dod-
son, president of the bank.
Estimated cost of the edifice, which
wUl be the tallest and largest In
Pampe, will be $165,000. A drawing
of the imposing structure now la the
bank shows that it will be built of
white stone end light-colored brick.
It will have a mezzanine floor and a
basement. Aecording to present pleas
it would be one of the largest office
’ buildings in smaller Panhandle cities.
Plans for erecting the building
were completed last week whea the
Pampa National Bank purehased the
twoadjoining buildings on the south
and the sites on which they are sit-
uated from C. B. Barnard. The alto
for the new bulldiac is now 140 by
75 feet, but the structure itself will
be 10 feet wide and 140 feet long. The
building when completed will be one
of the largest bank buildings in the
Panhandle It .will be built on one
of the best locations in Pampa.'
Definite decision to erect the new
building waa made at a recent meet-
ing of the stoekholders when the fol-
lowing officers were elected:
J. M. Dodson, president: C. B. Ber-
nard, vice president; J. M. Saunders,
, vice president: A. J. McAlister,
cashier; C. M. Carlech, assistant
cashier; A. L. Prigmore, assistant
cashier; Hugh Morrow, assistant
qhier. •
IT he following directors were elect-
ea: J. M. Dodson, E. E. Reynolds,
3 M. Sounders, D. W. Osborne, C. B.
Bernard, U C. MeConnell and R. S.
McConnell.
