a pensioner earns more than $300,
he would pay to the union 2% per-
cent of the earnings over the limit
The delegates said the amendment
was proposed because of inflation.
At present, the $500 mortuary
benefits of the union are paid to
the familes of members who die
after being union members for 15
years or more. The last constitu-
tional amendment to be decided
would reduce this, age minimum
to 10 years.

At the present work looks good
and should remain so for the next

police our jobs and report any
jobs where someone is doing our

This is very Important. If you
have changed your beneficiary
since you registered with Inter-
national or The Health and Wel-
fare Program, please contact me
at once. It is possible that the
one you want to receive your bene-
fits may not do so if you have
another registered as your bene-
ficiary. Also, if you have no bene-
ficiary registered or your register-
ed beneficiary is deceased it is
possible that the state or no one
would receive the benefits due. If
the incorrect beneficiary is listed
it makes it very hard on this office
to get claims paid as you would
want them. Be sure to complete
the form you received from the
Pension Fund. It could help the
one you love most
Let’s help each other have bet-
ter working conditions.

The following letter was received
in our office with the request that
it be included in the column:
We wish to thank the Plaster-
ers of Local No. 61 and the Aux-
iliary for their many kindnesses
shown our parents during our
father’s recent illness. The many
expressions of sympathy is ap-
preciated. I was so glad to see
so many of their friends, that I
remember as a small boy, at his
funeral. May God ever bless each
of you.
