Sherry loved to sing and dance, especially to country music. She was
known to dance down the hallway and entertain everyone at Songbird
Lodge. In the early 1980s she sang with Johnny Rodriguez. Sherry was
fond of cowboys and never met a stranger. She was always ready to "go
make friends." She was known to give you a "hey" or a wink and, if she
knew you, a big hug. Sherry had a big heart. She loved horses and dogs
and was a barrel racer at one time. She enjoyed being in the country. She
was a pretty good fisherwoman, so much that her grandfather nicknamed
her"Catfish". If you wanted a "white glove"clean house, Sherry was the one
to make it happen. She adored her son, Taylor.
Sherry moved to Brownwood from Schulenberg in April 2019 to be with
her sister, Lorinda. What cherished memories they made.
Sherry is survived by her son, Taylor Cole McShan and fiance, Shelbie
Hatmaker of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; her sisters, Pamela Ann Bonner of
McKinney, Deborah Kay Melton of Temple, and Lorinda Lindsey of Brown-
wood. She is also survived by her "sisters in love", Cathy Fulkerson Gau of
Round Top, Pat Reagan Rollins of Muldoon, and Esther Bien of Dallas. She

St. Michael parishioners and school parents for helping in
areas of need.
To Father Wayne Flagg, thank you for all your support
and encouragement throughout the year.
Finally, and most importantly, thanks be to God our

in Corpus Christi, graduating from W.B. Ray High School where he was a
National Merit Finalist. He was a graduate of Rice University, and served in
the Navy as E-5, 2nd class Avionics Technician for four years, with one of

He and his family had a country place in Fayette County, Texas, since 1951
which was considered "home"to all, and was a major influence in the lives

there over the years.
Howard was employed at Humble Oil (Exxon) for over 38 years in leading
edge computerwork. His lastfourto five years were in business development
in Exploration. He never missed a day of work-ever- never took a sick day.
He always remembered pets Ming Toy, Fritzi, and Xanthippe whom he
cared foralong with his wonderful parents for manyfaithful years. He started
reading at a very early age and never stopped. He read every subject from
literature to technology and everything in between. Most people who
knew him thought he was the smartest person they had met. His siblings
