A graveside service was held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville at 10 a.m.
on Wednesday April 29. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Fr. Bernard of St. Paul's
Catholic Church officiated a private service for the immediate family. A memo-

to Ewald Otto Blaschke and Marie Vacek
Blaschke of Schulenburg. He was preced-
ed in death by his parents, his brother Ber-
neth Blaschke and sister Jean Trefny.
He is survived by Renee, his wife of al-
most 65 years; three children, Kenneth
Blaschke II (Connie), Rex Blaschke (Karen)
and Rochelle Blaschke Schlortt (David);
five grandchildren, Kiley, Casey and Er-
inn Schlortt, and Christopher and Taylor
Blaschke; brother E.J. Blaschke (Susan);
sister-in-law Hazel Blaschke; and numer-
ous nieces and nephews.

Wednesday, April 22, 2020, in St. Da-
vid's South in Austin. Robert attained
the age of 72 years, 3 months, 10
days.
Robert was buried on Thursday,
April 30 at 2 p.m. at a graveside ser-
vice in the beautiful Andrews Cha-
pel Cemetery in the Fowlkes family
plot. Rev. David Thompson delivered
words of love and encouragement
and truth to all who would hear as
he told about the salvation that was
freely offered to all. He recounted
stories about Robert and his stead-
fast faith. Bro. Hollas Hoffman offered
God with obedience. God rates
it, has earned it and deserves it.
