CREATING THE SAYERS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
IN BEXAR COUNTY.
H. B. No. 86.] CHAPTER 78.
An Act creating the Sayers Independent School District; describing the
boundaries thereof; providing a board of trustees for its government;
granting supervising exemptions to it; investing it with power to make
oil leases; applying General Laws to it; retaining its assets and liabilities
and tax rates; and carrying the emergency clause.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby created the Sayers Independent
School District out of Common School District 21 of
Bexar County. The boundaries of the new district shall remain
the same as those of the old; and are described as follows:
Beginning at a point where the Antonio Menchaca Survey 21
and the B. B. B. thence in a northwest
direction along the north lines of the B. B. B. thence northeast along the
west line of Division 17 to the northeast corner of Division 37
the southeast corner of Division 16; thence in a northwest direction
along the north line of Division 37 and across Division 16
to the east line of Division 14 County Block 4020; thence northeast
to the southeast corner of Division 13 the southwest corner
of Division 14 County Block 4020; thence in a northwest direction
along the south lines of Divisions 13 and 12 to the southwest
corner of Division 12 County Block 4020; thence northwest
along the west line of Division 12 to the southwest corner
of the F. Cardenas Survey 25; thence northwest along the south
line of the F. Cardenas Survey 25 to the southwest corner of
the F. Cardenas Survey 25; thence with the survey lines of the
following surveys including said surveys in the Sayers Independent
District; J. M. Springer 31, A. Deffenbough 137, 0. H.
Peters 138, J. W. Peacock 136, Ed Gieseke 32, F. Longaville 4,
Jose Matea 50, M. Gortari 5 to the southeast corner of E.
Navarro 2; thence down the Gardner road to the northeast corner
of the Pablo Villapando Survey 142; thence south along the
east line of the Pablo Villapando Survey 142 (the Gardner road)
to a point where the south line of Division 9 County Block 5146
would intersect the east line of the Pablo Villapando Survey
142; thence in an east direction on the same course as the south
line of Division 9 County Block 5146, to the southeast corner of
Division 9; thence north to the southwest corner of Division 10
Block 5146; thence east to the northwest corner of Division 16
County Block 5146; thence south to the southwest corner of
Division 16 County Block 5146; thence east to the northwest
corner of Division 20 County Block 5146; thence south to the
southwest corner of Division 21 County Block 5146; thence east
to the northwest corner of Division 23 County Block 5146;
