BRILLIANT AFFAII
The most brilliant affair of the
season was the banquet given by
the Juniors of the Orange High
School to the Seniors Saturday eve-
ning at I o ekwk at Pinehurst Coun-
try club. Te ueauun club rooms
were further enhanced by the nse
of elematis vines being banked on
the mantle and in tall bn-ket- plac-
ed at vantage points, white lilies
and roses likewise being lavishly
used. The eo.or scheme of orange
anil white, the Senior colots, was
effectively use. The lights had or-
ange-eolored -hade-. orange and
white balloons forming a large part
of the de sorations, these being sus-
pended from the center light.
The tables were placed in the
form of the letter ”H.” there being
90 plates, which were marked by
lively place crads of daisy design.
The class flower was the daisy. The
clematis vine was placed down the
center of the tables and at intervals
bowls of orange-coored nasturtiums
and candles were placed. The favor-
