Flag football
Rusk Intermediate School recently held a school-
wide Flag Football Tournament during PE classes.

Jury returned 24 indictments
Oct. 27. Indictments included
injury to an elderly person,
tampering with government
records, burglary, delivery
and possession of a controlled
substance, chiving while in-
toxicated and theft.
Among those indicted

the elderly on Sept. 12

a habitation on Sept. 8
• Names were withheld on
two counts of delivery of a
controlled substance on April
24 and May 12
•Michael Jones, 31, of
New Summerfield, charged
with burglary of a building
on July 1
•Anthony Blackshire, 42,

possession of a controlled
substance on March 1

Ten persons entered guilty

charged with fraudulent use
or possession of identifying
information was sentenced to
180 clays in state jail
•Roy Smith, 44, of Rusk,
charged with possession of
a controlled substance was
sentenced to 12 months in
state jail
•Belvis Singletary, 32, of
Rusk, charged with posses-
sion of a controlled substance
Spaghetti supper, pictures
with Santa follow parade
The Alto FFA, Junior FFA and 4-H
will sponsor a spaghetti and meat
sauce dinner and pictures with Santa
at the fire station immediately following
the 6 p.m. Dec. 8 Christmas parade.
Price for the dinner is $5 for adults
and $3 for children 12 and under.
Pictures with Santa are $5 each.
