United Methodist Church in
Duncanville with the Rev. Dr. Bob
Robertson officiating.
Private burial was in Rosehili
Cemetery at Cleburne under tfie
direction of West/Hurtt Funeral
Home of DeSoto.
Mrs. Anderson died Tuesday at
her home.
She was born Dec. 14, 1946, in
Jacksonville. She graduated from
Arlington High School in 1965, re-
ceived her Bachelor of Arts degree
in 1968 and a Master of Fine Arts
degree in 1970 in speech pathology
from Southern Methodist Univer-
sity. She was employed by the Vet-
erans Administration in Dallas for
several years and later with the
Dunqanville Independent School
Distinct. Mrs. Anderson was a mem-
ber of the American Speech Lan-
guage Hearing Association and a
mem er of Zeta Tau Alpha at SMU.

Jacksonville, was at 2 p.m. Satur-
day in&he Rusk First United Meth-
odist (fnurch with the Rev. Everett
McCofium officiating. Burial was
in Cedar Hill Cemetery under the
direction of Wallace-Thompson Fu-
neral Home.
Mrsi Guynn died Wednesday
evening in a Dallas nursing home.
She was born April 18,1920, in St.
Vrainj N.M. and was a Cherokee
County resident most of her life.
She.graduated from Rusk High
School and attended Port Arthur
Business College, as well as Stephen
F. Audtin State University. She was
a meniber of the Rusk First United
Methddist Church.
Mrs* Guynn was preceded in de^h
by henhusband, Ben Guynn in 1912.
Suririvors are her son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Greg and Patricia Guynn
of Dállas; four grandchildren,
Melahie Essex of Rusk, Hillary
Guynn, Ben Guynn and MicKah
Guynn, all of Dallas; two sister,
Lenora Jones of Port Arthur and
Edith Harrison of Jacksonville; and
numerous nieces and nephews.

of Gallatin was at 2 p.m. Saturday
in the Thompson Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Robin Par-
sons and the Rev. Newton Hambrick
officiating. Burial was in Henry
Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill died Thursday in a Tyler
hospital after a lengthy illness. She
was born March 12, 1925, in
Monette, Ark. and had lived in
' Gallatin all of her life. She was a
member of the Gallatin Missionary
Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her
son, David C. Hill.
Survivors are her husband, Jesse
James Hill of Gallatin; four sons,
James Michael Hill of Rusk, Donald
Ray Hill of Gallatin, Jesse Lee Hill
' of Rusk and Robert Wayne Hill of
Gallatin; a daughter, Ruth Ann
Teran of Dallas; two brothers, J. B.
Richardson Jr. of Houston and
Jimmie Lynn Richardson of Jack-
sonville; 10 grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren and numerous
nieces and nephews.

Coleman, 75, of Jacksonville was at

Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.

was in Jacksonville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Coleman died Sunday in Nan
Travis Hospital.

hair dresser for more than 50years.
Mrs. Coleman was a member of the
Central Baptist Church, where she
served as secretary of the nursery
department for 25 years; taught an
intermediate Sunday school class;
and sang in the church choir. She
was a member of the 20-40 Club and
the Knife and Fork Club.
Survivors are her husband,
Herbert Coleman of Jacksonville;
two sons and daughters-in-law, Park
Lynn and Lucy Summers of Au-
burn, Maine, Paul Scott and Sharon
Summers of Jacksonville; a daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Suzanne Sum-
mers and Walter Vermillion of Rusk;
two stepdaughters, Billie Marie
Bobo of Argyle and Peggy Sue Tilden
of Highland, Calif.; a sister, Ina
Goodwin of Roby; a brother, Arnold
Fuller Yuma, Ariz.; six grandchil-
dren; seven step-grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; and sev-
eral nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ralph Crouch,
Roland OfTord, Tom Dean Stevens,
Larry Cigarnero, Darwin Floyd and
Charles Creed.
Honorary pallbearers were mem-
bers of Central Baptist Church choir
and nursery workers, members of
the 20-40 Club and employee of
Women's World Beauty Shop.

to Central Baptist Church Choir
Fund.
Jerry Lee Garner
Funeral for Jerry Lee Garner, 38,
of Bryan, formerly of Rusk was at
10 a.m. Saturday in the Callaway-
Jones Funeral Home Chapel in
Bryan with the Rev. Dale Smith
officiating.
Services were also held at 3 p.m.
Saturday at Holleyman Chapel Mis-
sionary Baptist Church.The Rev. A.
D. Munsinger and the Rev. W. F.
Sides officiated for the local ser-
vices. Burial was in the Holleyman
Chapel Cemetery with local ar-
rangements under the direction of
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
Mr. Garner was born May 26,
1955, in Houston and had been a
Bryan residence 6tnce 1984. He was
a truck driver for Hodges Truck Co.
of Bryan and a member of the
Holleyman Chapel Missionary Bap-
tist Church. He was preceded in
death by his father, Fred Garner, on
April 1, 199L
Survivors are his wife, Cathy Gar-
ner of Bryan; a daughter, Candis
Garner of Bryan; his mother,
Geneva Garner of Maydelle; three
brothers and sisters-in-law, Kelley
and Judy Garner of Rusk, Earl and
Lois Garner of Douglass and Rich-
ard and Diane Garner of Maydelle;
a sister and brother-in-law, Fredia
and Roy Johnson of Houston.
Pallbearers were Wayne Brock,
Edgar Banks, Mitchell Mainer,
Jamie Munsinger, George Clark,
Kenneth Tidrow, Chuck Tidrow and
Randy Tidrow.
John Wylie Thomason
Funeral for John Wylie
Thomason, 81, of Dialville was at 2
p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, in the
Thompson Funeral Home Chapel
with the Rev. Clyde Johnston offi-
ciating. Burial was in Providence
Cemetery.
Mr. Thomason died Monday,
Sept. 13, in Nan Travis Hospital.
He was born Dec. 17, 1911, in
Dialville and was a lifelortg Dialville
resident. He was a farmer and a
retired mail carrier. He was a mem-
ber of the Central Baptist Church
in Jacksonville.
Survivors are his wife, Irma
Thomason of Dialville; two sons,
Max Thomason of Dialville and
John Wylie Thomason Jr. of Piano;
a daughter, Nancy Nésselhauf of
Austin; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann
Thomason of Dialville; nine grand-
children; and five great-grandchil-
dren; a niece, Margaret Collins of
Baytown and a nephew, Howard
Thomason of Dialville.
Pallbearers were J. C. Tate,
Harold Acker, Bill Isaacks, Orville
Perry, Herman Glass, Ernest Glass
and Wayne Kerzee.
Honorary pallbearers were Jack-
sonville postal employees and the
Goodfellow Bible Class of Central
Baptist Church.

the Arnold Cemetery Association is
Sept. 25 at the Arnold Cemetery on
farm road 1911, eight miles south of
Alto.
New officers will be elected for
the coming year, old business taken
care of and new business introduced.
Lunch will be served at noon.
