season basketball team. The Hoopsters. The team
will be in Alto at 8 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 19.
Newhouse, a native of Hallsville in East Texas, is in
his ninth year with the Cowboys.

sale in Alto and Rusk.
The Hoopsters, the
Dallas Cowboys off-season
basketball team, will be in
Alto at 8 p.m. Thursday,
March 19, in the Alto High
School gym. Advance
tickets to the game are
$6.00. Tickets at the door
will be $8.00.
Tickets are available in
Alto from members of the
Alto Quarterback Club, and
at Pearman Motor Co. and
the Alto High School.
Tickets may be obtained in
Rusk by calling 683-4787.
Souvenir programs,
featuring pictures of
various Cowboy players,
will be available for pur-
chase at the game. An
autograph session will
held following the game
The Quarterback Club
members will be accepting
donations on a football
autographed by the Dallas
Cowboys. Donations of

ball will be auctioned to the

time activities at the
ballgame.

in East Texas gathered for
dinner and a pep rally .

in the banquet room of the
Holiday Inn in Lufkin. Two
speakers, Mrs. Sarah
Norris and Mrs. Susan
Nethery told of their per
sonal battles with cancer
Lufkin High School's
stage band, led by Jim
Hughes played during the
dinner hours.

Crusade goals for 1981
Cherokee South unit's goal
is $3, 416, which brings the
