Miss Kimberli K. Brew-

John Thomas Haynes in a
candlelight ceremony Sat-
urday evening, Aug. 16, in
the Tinker Air Force Base
Chapel in Midwest City,
Okla.
Kim is the daughter of
Capt. (US Army Ret.) and
Mrs. Jimmy H. Brewer of
Choctaw, Okla., and the

Besides being the
musical accompanist,
Johnny has the job of
transposing some of the
musical numbers in the
show. Johnny has also
appeared in the Civic
Theatre productions of
The Glaaa Menagerie,
Our Town and others.

Bently while the couple
knelt, facing each other,
on the white wrought iron
and satin bench. Mrs.
Thigpin also sang "We've
Only Just Begun" as the
couple left the altar after
the ceremony.
The bride was presented
for marriage by her fath-
er. She wore a formal
gown of pure white silk
organza. The skirt featur-
ed an overlay of chantilly
lace as did the molded
bodice which was accent-
ed with tiny seed pearls.
The bodice was completed
by a Queen Anne neckline
and Bishop sleeves. The
gown flowed to form an
attached chapel train. A
matching chapel length
veil of chantilly lace at-
tached to a satin, pearl
beaded headpiece com-
plimented the bridal gown.
The bride's bouquet was a
cascade arrangement of
greenery, pink rose buds,
white miniature carna-
tions and baby's breath
with pink streamers.
Attending the bride as
maid-of-honor was Miss
Paula Hamilton of Law-
ton. Okla. Bridesmaids
were sisters of the bride.
Mrs. Terri Barnes of Law-
ton and Miss Beverly
Brewer of Choctaw.
Kim had as her flower
girl and ring bearer, cou-
sins Carla and Kevin Rog-
ers. son and daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Rog-
ers of Alto.
Attendants, including
the flower girl, wore for-
mal length pink satin
gowns featuring round
necklines and long sleeves
of sheer satin gathered at
the wrists to form ruffles.
Attendants wore head-
pieces of fresh pink and
white miniature carna-
tions with baby's breath
and carried nosegay bou-
quets to match The flower
girl carried a small white
basket arrangement of
pink and white miniature
carnations with pink and
white streamers
John Douvillier of Mid-
west City served as best
man. Groomsmen were
Bill Washburn and Jimmy
Burke Brewer, brothers of
the bride, both of Choc-
taw. Best man and
groomsmen wore silver
tuxedos with pink ruffled
shirts. Eddie and Heath
Douvillier served as can-
dlelighters
The couple were honor-
ed with a reception by the
bride's parents in the fel-
lowship hall of the chapel
after the ceremony
The bride's table was
covered with a white lace
table cloth laced with deli-
cate pink satin ribbons
and accented by garlands
of greenery and large
bows at the corners The
large three tier wedding
cake on white columns
with a lighted flowing
fountain underneath and
the Bride's bouquet com-
posed the centerpiece. Sil-
ver candleabra with pink
tpaers completed the set-
ting The couple cut and
serve the bride's cake
with the silver engraved
knife and server presented
to them by the groom's
parents Sherberl punch
was served from a silver
punch bowl along with
mixed nuts and mints.
The groom's table was
decorated identical to the
bride's table The groom's
chocolate cake was en-
twined with hearts with
Kim and John and the
wedding date on top Cof-
fee was served from the
silver service An easel
placed near the groom's
table held a lf> x 20 inch
portrait of the bride,
which was a complete sur-
prise to both the bride and
the groom, and was pre-
sented to the groom as a
wedding gift In the bride's
