FOR HAPPY HOME BREW

Mr. Willis Rowl, who gave us this information
on Home Brew lives about thirty miles out of Car-
thage' Texas. He is from Marshall, Texas, which
is located in Harrison County. Mr. Rowl has been
living there all his life. He has been making
Home Brew since 1924.
Here is Mr. Willis Rowl's recipe:
1-- quart Blue Ribbon cane syrup
1-- Irish potatoe
1-- cup of meal
1-- tablespoon of rice
10-- gallonss of water
1-- ten pound bag of sugar
few raisins if desired
Firsts, et a ten gallon churns add the syrup, pot-
atoes, sugars raisins, and ten gallons of water.
Add the remainder of the ingredients and put all in
a bag. Place all of this in the churns and place a
lid over it and let it set for 72 hours.29
