Part of the bottom board of the mount has broken off.

Notes

The house was built in Marshall, Texas, by Calvin Locke (1798-1877) on the northwest corner of Fannin and Grove (407 W. Fannin). By the time of this photograph, ca. 1900, his daughter Sarah Dycke Locke was living in the house, with her widowed daughter Katie McAllister and her two children.
