EDITORIAL—
By Janis Hood
When trash litters our streets
time and time again, we actually
pay no heed to it. We, ourselves,
are found guilty of littering pub-
lic property. Our most abused pub-
lic servants are the ones who pick
up and straighten up after us.
How would you feel if, after a
long day's work, you turned are-
und and it seemed as though no
progress had been made? Would
you be depressed? Would you get
angry and quit? Well, some would
and some would not.
Why not make it a point, your-
self as an individual, to see that
things around you are in such a
well-kept way that you are proud
to know that you took part in the
betterment of your country. Look
about you and see what you can
do, and then see what others can
do. Express your ideas to them
so that they will be interested in
helping you maintain this accomp-
lishment. Help others by helping
yourself.
