Mr. and Mrs. James Bradbery
and daughters of Pasadena visited
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee
Jones, over the weekend. Mr.
Jones is back in the hospital. He
had pneumonia and was taken
back last Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Phillips vis-
ited Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Phillips
and son of Jacksonville Sunday
afternoon.

Williamson together with an Ap-
plication to be discharged from

expiration of ten days from date
of Publishing this citation, the
same being the 3rd day of Febru-

Settlement of said estate are re-
quired to appear and contest said

and there filing opposition there-
to in writing if they see proper
so to do.
The officer executing this writ
shall promptly serve the same ac-
cording to requirements' of law,
and the mandates hereof, and
make due return as the law di-
rects; and. if this citation is not
served within 90 days after date
of its issuance, it shall be return-
ed unserved, with showings of the
diligence used by the officer to
execute it and the cause of fail-
ure to execute it.

Held At Church;
Some 70 Present
Approximately 70 persons en-
joyed Family Night at First Meth-
odist Church, Thursday evening,
January 16th, announces Rev. El-
wood Birkelbach, pastor.
Games of "42", dominoes and
scrabble were played. Miss Bill
March was in charge of planning
recreation.
A covered dish supper was serv-
ed prior to the social hour.
February 20th is scheduled as
the next Family Night, and all
members are urged to remember
the date, and attend, said Rev.
Birkelbach.
John B. Belvin
Recovering In
Houston Hospital
Friends of John Boyd Belvin
will be pleased to learn he is con-
valescing satisfactorily in the Vet-
erans Hospital, Houston, follow-
ing an automobile accident De-
cember 6.
Those wishing to correspond
with him may address their let-
ters in care of the Veterans Hos-
pital, Ward 305, Houston.
Belvin was injured in an acci-
dent near Henderson December 6,
in which he received a dislocated
hip, broken ribs, a fractured kneo
and facial bruises. He has been in
the Houston hospital about three
weeks.

kee county reported that c;ros ap-
proved for monetary benefits dur-
ing the month of December pro-
vided county veterans with an an-
nual income of $10,236.40
A total of 63 cases were handl-
ed Jimmie If. Cone, veterans
service officer, said.
Following is a breakdown of tho

12; aid and attendant, 1; chango
of beneficiary on NSLI, 2: change

where they met their daughter,
Mrs. Jack Fitzgerald of Cedar Ra-
pids, Iowa, who will spend two
weeks here with her parents.
Miss Beaulah Allen and Mrs.
Henry Maness visited the latter's
brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Ralph Guinn, at lvilgore Sat-
urday.
Miss Beth Banks returned to
Dallas Monday after spending the
weekend here with her mother,
Mrs. Susie Banks.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Smith and
Mrs. Roy Dean Thompson of Ty-
ler visited relatives here Satur-
day afternoon. Cathy Thompson
returned home with them after
visiting with her aunt, Mrs. Bill
Curtis.
Mrs. Mildred Fulton had visit-i
ing with her for the weekend her
sons, Kent Fulton of Port Arthur,
and Boli Fulton of Houston.
