New Year's Dinner. Among the
pleasant events which marked the
celebration of New Year's Day an
elegant dinner at which Mr. and Mrs.
H. G. Duhose entertained a small
number of guests. The menu com-
prised several courses each of un-
usual excellence. Never were there
more charming host and hostess than
Mr. and Mrs. Dubose and never were
guests more cordially treated or ten
dered a more cordial welcome than
those who enjoyed their hospitality
on this occasion.

in length. The injured boy was at
once brought into the city where
his wound was dressed by Dr. Hil
ger several stitches being necessary
to sew up the cut.

Good Programs. Excellent pro-
grams were rendered at both the Cel-
ford and Electric theaters last night.
At the Celford besides the special
vaudeville features given the mo-
tion pictures "Her Happy Day" and
"Robin Hood" were two exceptional
ly good pictures and decidedly above
the ordinary being much enjoyed.
At the Electric Theater the "Custom
Officer's Revenge and the "Shepher-
dess" were two excellent moving pic
ture dramas while the "uancing
Fiend" the "Persistent Trombonist
and "Unusual Cooking" were come
dies which provoked much merri
