On Monday, March 17. the entire
University was shocked at the news
announcing the death of Mr. Lester
Gladstone Bugbee, adjunct professor
of history. He died at 'he home of
his father at Pleasant Point. Johnson
county. He was granted leave of ab-
sence last June by the regents on ac-
count of il-health, and went immedi-
ately to El Paso, where he hoped to
be relieved of the disease—tuberculo-
