For music majors, it can be
the most frightening moment of their
academic lives.
"It" is the final recital required
of any student majoring in music
performance to graduate and it means
walking onto a stage to play difficult
repertoi re and being judged by faculty
members.
A culmination of years of
intense practice and lessons from fac-
ulty, this event represents the apex of a
musician's time at UNT.
And you can watch it.
Like nearly all performances
that take place in the Music Building,
these recitals are open to the public and
free of charge.
With more music majors than
any other university, UNT's College
of Music hosts multiple recitals each
week, from undergraduates to doctoral
students.
The summer is no different.
See the events calendar at www.unt.
music.edu/calendar to find a list of
today's recitals.
