A short time ago Mr. J. C Hawthorne
a prominent lawyer or -Sparta Illinois
being In very delicate health decided lo

Texas territory when he found his
strength falling him and felt that lie was
going lo die. He then wrote hla name

pocket. After thla he got worse and as
the train pulled Into Fort Worth on
Tuesday he died. Friends have been

embalmed waiting their arrival.
