Justice Crawford Instruoted Drs. Berry

Inquest contendlngbe alone has author-

'Tbe fact Is that the charge fer the au-

been paid without a murmur. It Is this
habitual meanness on the part of tbe
county commissioners in not authorizing
necessary inquests mat naa prevented
the satisfactory solution oi some very
mysterious deaths thst have ooourred in
this city. Every oltlzen Is entitled to
protection and tbe best protection that
oan be given Is to show murderers and
would-be assassins that If they commit
murder there will be such a strlot Inves-

Inquest business as tbe I.iaiiT has fre-
