Office of THE I. o. O. F. Building)
Association of Waco, -
Waco, Texas, 1875.)
Brothers—Some time since, Waco Lodge,
No. 70, 1. O. O. F,, began to build a magnifi-
cent Temple in the city of Waco, Texas, to
be dedicated to the Order. The hard times
are upon us, and after doing all that we can,
we find ourselves yet heavily in debt and un-
less the debt is paid, we shall lose what we
have already paid.
In order to meet this indebte lness the
members of Waco Lodge, No. 70,1. O. O. F.,
have organized a Building Association. Our 7
plan is to address this letter to every Odd :
Fellow and ask each one to become an honor-
ary member of the Association, by the pay-
ment of the small sum of twenty-five cents,
which is the regular fee formembership, and
to ask him for such donation as he may feel
disposed to give. On reading this, please
send to our Secretary, Brother J. K. Street,
Waco, Texas, at least twenty-five cents. We
appeal to you as an Odd Fellow; a small
mite from each one will help us out of a
great trouble.
Yours in F. L. T.,
John S. Moore, Pres't of the Association.
