Medicos Organize.
The physicians of Deaf Smith,
Castro and Randall counties met re-
cently in the parlors of the Ritchy
Hotel, and organized a medical as-
sciation for the three counties. Dr.
D. R. Fly of Amarillo was present
and participated in the organization.
The followirg doctors were pres-

The object of the assciation is to
form a closer fellowship, to have a
means of professional intercourse
and to promote the general welfare
of the members. The next meeting
will be held in this City September 10.

New Celery.
F. H. Brittain was showing
some fine celery from his gar-
den this week. The larger bunch
measured 30 inches high. He says
that it has been little trouble to raise.
Infant Dies.
Myrtha Ruth, infant daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Heath, Mem-
phis, Texas, born June, 17, 1908 de-
parted this life August, 15, 1908
after a brief illness of cholera infan-
tum. "Budded on earth to bloom
in Heaven."

election on Saturday, the 5th day of
September, 1908, at the Court House
in the said city of Hereford, Texas,
by R. E. Cook, presiding officer of
said election, and the polls at said
courthouse will be opened at8 a. m.
and closed at 7 p. m. on said day,
for the purpose of electing one alder-
man for the said city of Hereford
to fill the unexpired term of W. B.
Beach, resigned.
