Every one expresses himself as
ig satisfied. Of course I can't
what the outcome of this xiU
, be, but I do know the opportunities
1 are fine for a big boom. If these
lands were anywhere in Texas they
would bring $100 an acre.
The drawing has not come off
Íet and may not for several days,
may leave before it does. Every-
thing is being done fair. The com-
pany has turned everything over to
the investors, and there has been a
man from each state and territory
appointed on a committee to say
how the drawing shall be conducted.
This committee is to look over the
land and report what they find, also
to investigate title, etc., so you can
see it will require several days to
get ready. I may leave for home
before the drawing comes off, as I
can be of no service here.
I would like to look over the
country more, but wont have the
time. We will be detained in the
City of Mexico five days before we
rill be allowed to cows over into
the United States.
I want to say further that I have

fresh than these young girls
were looking as they were invited to
a table softly shaded by a dainty
pink parasol from which came baby
ribbon of various colors to the
table's edge, an attached card
designating the place for each guest
to be seated. Assisted by Miss
Beula Wright, Mrs. Barnett served
the season's favorite refreshments,
ice-cream and é&ke, after which
she requested to be pulled the rib-

from the inner recesses of the
