Mr. Walter Delmarter to
Speak on Sex Education
The . Stephenville Ministerial
Alliance has - arranged for Mr.
Walter Delamarter of Fort Worth
*o speak to adults and young peo-
ple on the subject "Sex Education:
Home, Church, and School."
The lecture, open to the public,
■will be held in the local high school
auditorium on Monday, October 1,
at 7:30 p.m. There will be no ad-
mission charge and no offering
will he taken; It is out of the Al-
liances's vital interest in the moral
instruction and education of the
community youth that the program
has been arranged.
The Alliance believes that the
speaker, Mr. Delamarter, can be
o( genuine help in this area. He
is a recognized authority in this
field, and at present he is execu-
tive director of the Edna Gladnej1
Home (for unwed expectant girls
in Fort Worth). He has his Mas-
ters Degree in Social Work, and
has served several years with th?
Baptist General Convention of
Texas' Child Welfare Department.
Following Mr. Delamarter's form-
al presentation there will be a
period for questions and discus-
sion.
Earlier in the day, Mr. Dela-
marter will have a special meet-
ing with the ministers of Stephen-
ville at 3:00 p.m. at the Methodist
Student Center. Then he will speak
to a group of college students at
the Baptist Student Center at G:15
p.m. before proceeding-to the high
school auditorium for the genery]
meeting with Stephenville adults
and young people. *
Wesley Foundation
| Makes Fall Plans
The Wesley Foundation will
sponsor a "Math' Help Session" on
Monday, October X, from G:30 un-
j til 7:30 p.m.
| Mr. Otto Bielss, Tarleton math
I teacher, will be. in charge of the
session, which is open to all TSC
I students. Mr. Stephen L. Love,
| director of the Student Center,
has urged any student who is in-
terested to attend the meeting,
Friday night the Wesley Foun-
dation will be sight of an inter-
center recreation nig'ht. Ping
pong, table games, television, and
other forms of recreation will be
available.
Mr. Love also stated that the
Wesley Foundation has made
plans for a dance class to be held
at the student center in the near
future. Tarleton students will
serve as instructors, and any stu-
dent who would like to learn to
dance will be welcome at the class-
es.

RADNOR, Pa., Sept. 18 — Mid-
western football powers in the
Big 10 have the greatest concen-
tration of All-America prospects
for the l!)t>2 season, a poll of the
nation's college grid coaches show-
ed today.
Eight players from Big 10
schools —- including two each from
Michigan State and Iowa — give
that conference the largest re-
presentation among the 47 top
college prospects selected by mem
bers of the American Football
Coaches Association. The selec-
tions by more than 500 coaches
were announced today in TV Guid'j
magazine (Sept. 22 issue) by Bill
Murray, association president and
Duke coach.
Named from the Big 10 were:
Pat Richter, Wisconsin, Cloyd
Webb, Iowa, ends; Bob Bell, Min-
nesota, Bob Vogel, Ohio State,
tackles; Dave Behrman, Michigan

Zonta Club to
Honor Students
All Tarleton students from for-
eign countries are invited to be
the guests of the Stephenville
Zonta Club today at its regular
luncheon meeting in the Robin
Room of the Tarleton Dining Hall.
A very short program is plan-
ned, so that the students will be
able to attend their classes after
lunch.
The members of the Zonta Club
are business and professional
women, and guests appearing on
the program will be Mayor J.
Louis Evans and Mrs. Roy
Vaughn, soloist. The program if
under the direction fo the Inter-
national Relations Committee of
the club. This committee is com-
posed of Miss Lucy King, Mes-
riames Mary A. Moore and Vesta
Arthur.

America candidates. Tony Day,
Columbia guard, was the lone Ivy
League pick, and Notre Dame
fullback Mike Lind was the single
Irish selection.
