Abraham Home totaled $55 this
past week in memory of Essie
Pickhardt. Dottie Milburn and
W.C. Brickey.
New residents at the Home
are Mrs. Mary Stanley from
Shattuck and Mrs. Cleo Barton
from Canadian.
Homer Gibson and Alfred
Rowley are in the local hospital
and Eual Markham is in the
Wheeler hospital.
Goldie Brassart has returned
after several days in the local
hospital. Nan Prutsman has also
returned from the hospital in
Amarillo.
There was no field trip this
past week because of the wea-
ther. Donuts and coffee were
served in the recreation room

last Monday morning. Thursday
morning was spent on crafts.
Thanks to Sally Brainard tor
the geranium and other plants
she bought for the planters in
front of the Home. Sally docs
this every year as a memorial.
Helping Tammy Cornell in
the beauty shop last Friday were
Wanda Rankin and Gaydean
Bucher.
A special birthday party was
given for Charlie Het/cl Satur
day afternoon. He was ninety-
four years old. Birthday cake
and punch were served to a
large group of friends and
residents. D.J. Blackwell played
the piano while everyone sang
"Happy Birthday".
Tom Hobdy held church ser-
vices Sunday afternoon. Bettye
Scroggins played the piano.
After services, James Holman
held Communion. A trio, Tom
Hobdy. James Holman and Pat
Popham. sang a special.
Libby Barker showed two
films Monday morning in the
recreation room. One was on
Germany and one on France.
Popcorn was served during the
films.
May Hardage's visitors were
