The Gunsight Home Demonstra-
| tion Club held its regular meeting
in the community building July 19
at 2 p. m. There were four mem-
bers and six visitors present. Roll
Call was answered with a "Farm
Safety Hint." Minutes of the last
meeting were read and approved.

the program by the members pre-
sent.

The Gold Star Mothers Chapter

Mother. The hospital chairman,
Mrs. Vivian Reed, reported that a
total of 5<v0 cookies had been sent
in June to the V. A. hospital in
Me Kinney, and a donation to the
V. A. hospital in Waco.
Fifty seven general and two hos-
fiital visits were made since the
ast meeting. A number of "get
well" cards were sent to friends
who were ill in hospitals and at
home.
The music committee reported
that a used piano had been pur-
chased. The chapter had voted to
buy a piano some time ago.

Three visitors, Mrs. J. D. Lusk
of Hollis. Oklahoma, Mrs. W. L.
Hankla and Mrs. Glen Doty, at-
tended. Mrs. Lusk is the mother
of Mrs. Roy Helm.
Mrs. Helm, circle chairman, pre-
sided over the meeting and led the
opening prayer. Mrs. C. R. Blain
brought the devotional on "The
Kingdom of Heaven." using the
13th Chapter of Matthew. She also
accompanied the group on the ac-
cordian as they sang several
hymns.
Mrs. Glen Doty brought the
program, reviewing the first chap-
ter of the book "God's Psychiatry,"
by Charles L. Allen, pastor of the
Grace Methodist Church in Atlan-
ta, Ga. The book uses the 23rd
Psalm, the 10 Comamndments and
the Beatitudes as a pattern of
thinking. Mrs. Doty brought the
chapter on the 23rd Psalm.
iTje next meeting will be in the
home of Mrs. L. M. Pardee in
August. Mrs. Hankla dismissed
with prayer.
The hostess served ice cream and
cookies to those present.

Six 4-H members went to the
County Camp in Cisco Park last
weekend. They were acompanied
by the County Agent, Jack Gres-
sett.
The district camp at Wichita
Falls will be held next weekend.
Three members will attend from
Brer ken ridge. They will also be
accompanied by Mr. Gressett.

4-H Club Members. The members
are asked to bring their electrical
blanks. All electrical records must
