Ohio, left the Army in 1045. The
first month he was home, tho

S50 allotment Earley had mode
for his wife. Figuring it was a
mistake. Farley tossed the enve-
lope into his desk. The ne\t
month, and the next and the
next and ri. ht up to date, the
checks kept coining in and
Earley kept "filing" the enve-
lopes, unopened. Recently he
opened one and found a slip:
"Are You Entitled to This
Check?" Earley, pictured hold-
ing some of the $1700 worth of
cheeks, is arraritting for their
return to Uncle Sam.
