Druggist Forced
To Raise Prices

gists no longer welcome the high
school crowds who used their
stores as hangouts before the war,

Illinois Pharmaceutical Associa-

over drinks. Some now charge a
minimum of 15 cents per customer.

keep a steady stream of customers
to show any profit.
Wild has his own solution to the
problem. He took his soda fountain

Bare Legs Cause Havoc
PORTALES, N. M., «tr.n>—Bare
legs was' the explanation police ad-

Portles. A motorist ogled a group
of high sehoor girls playing soft-
ball in their shorts. He looked too
long, and his car rammed another
at an intersection. Three other
autos banged into the first two.
