After a short illness, Charlotte Elaine "Charlie"
Crockett Minor went home to be with the Lord. She
was the third child born to the late Frank Crockett Jr.
and Carrie Mae Humphreys Crockett in San Antonio,
Texas on September 2, 1954. Her parents and brother
Charles Edward Crockett preceded her in death. She
confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at
the now "Exciting" West End Baptist Church under
the pasturage of Rev. J. A. Kemple.
She attended grade school in the San Antonio ISD and
graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1972
where she was a member of their "Lassos" dance team.
She attended the now Texas State University where she
pledged with the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
On January 3rd, 2017, she celebrated 41 years of
marriage with the love of her life, Marcelous Minor
and to this union a son and daughter were born,
Marques Marcelous and Kristen Monique.
She was previously employed by the Harlendale and
Nations Banks finally retiring on October 2, 2014 from
the USAA Bank after working for 18 years.
Her passion in life was bowling of which she enjoyed.
She was well known in the bowling community and a
force to be reckoned with. She bowled with a league
in the early 80's called "Jus-T-Us- Friends" that
helped raise money to provide scholarships' for Sam
Houston High School students. She was the first
African American female in the city to bowl a perfect
300 game. She was the Woman's City Champion
Bowler in the mid 90's as well as the Sr. Female Bowler
of the Year within the last seven years. Her
awesomeness in the bowling circle will be truly missed. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving and

YCard of Thanks
Special thanks to Cleo Willrich, Gennie V. Horton, and Sylvia
Willrich for the hospitality shown to us during the sickness, final
days, then passing of our dear "Elaine" /"Mamma", opening up
your home, providing excellent care and just being there with her
when we couldn't, never leaving her alone. Deepest thanks and
appreciaton to you all. Words can never express the gratitude
we have in our hearts for your love, kindness, selflessness, and
compassion. Your home was warm and serene and we felt
comfortable and loved at all times. You made a situation that
would have been devastating to us as a family, less difficult to
handle and accept.
Love You Very Much and May God Bless You
Marcelous, Marques, and KristenL
