Dear Friend, It is a greater pleasure than I dared hope for to expect you to claim me as your "Dearest friend." It is more than I am able to do to express my feelings to you for those dear words. I have told you too often of the pleasure to me of that visit to your house to need repeating.

I shall never forget that night at the "Social" nor the conversation we had. And I don't suppose that some of those people that were there will forget the dunce that was there that night with Miss Betty H.

You say you and Leona are still able to do as much work as any two "little girls" and I think so too.
