goodbye for a while. Then about four of us girls, viz. Florence who was my beau, Ella B. and Bettie all went walking. Florence and I went the road you and I went on the Sunday eve you was here in the Summer. I spoke of it to her. She had a great deal to say. She said she wished little Johnie was here so we could have some fun. We were talking about my marrying. She said she did not know, but somehow or other she had been impressed with the idea that you and I would marry some time. I told her there was nothing but friendship existing between us now, but I knew just about as much about what I would do in the future as she did. There was no telling the change there would be.

It is getting late and I have been suffering with neuralgia all day. I never did have it before and it is about to get the best of me.
