I am about ready to contradict what that old "fortune teller" said about you. I don't believe you would be that mean if you could be. I think you had better let me tell your fortune and I will do better than that. I predict that you will marry some nice little girl and make that little girl a good, kind indulging and affectionate husband. Never get mad at her, but when she gets out of humor and pouts a little, you will just call her some sweet name and pet her up and make all sunshine in a little while. I think such a husband should be considered a treasure. They are not often found. Or at least Bettie would think so. I don't know that I wish I was in your place, but I would not object to being in your company a while, if not longer. I expect that Miss Sallie enjoys her visit better than I could for her.
