FT. WORTH, Tex., Sept. 29—In a
far-reaching decision, the state court
of civil appeals today upheld the right
of the Wichita county executive com-
mittee to oust J. W. Nichols, for
his refusal to support the. national.
Democratic ticket. The case had been
brought here on appeal.
The district court at Wichita Falls
had issued an injunction restraining the
county committee from declaring vac-
ant the seat h41d by Nicholson. The
opinion of the civil appeals court dec- ’
lared that Nicholson did not come
into court "with clean hands.’’ ,
This decision is expected to have a
wide influence on party affairs Ln the
future. In effect it holds that party
loyalty is a condition of party mem-
bership.
