MR- JOHNSON'S GRIPE
WITH DAN CUPID
Mr Johnson feels very low-
tins week because matrimony has
taken most of his basketball pla-
yers away!
Clarice Ann Pen rod was the
first to cause Coach Johnson a
headache. Miss Pen rod was mar
ried in the summer months and
she knocked a great hole in the
guard force He was planning to
build the whole guard force ar-
ound this one player but Dan
Cuoid took her away?
The next to feel the bite of
love was Patsy McKeever. She
remained on the squad because
her husband is in the Armed
Forces so Mr Johnson claims.
Wholesale problems began on
Saturday Nov. 25 1950 not one
but two of the current season's
main team Martha Jordon and
Willene Smith said "I do's" They
then turned in their books- bid
their basketball future good bye
and creot silently awny Then
came Natalie Mendor. Because of
'11 this Coach Johnson feels like
e has a gripe with Dan Cupid
- and we agree!
