i The Swenson 4-H club met at its
regular time on Tuesday, January 28,
J at 9:00 A. M. Miss Jean Day met
i with us. We had a very interesting
meeting. Miss Day handed out book-
lets of songs, and she also had us to
write a number of answers to ques-
tions and then she read the answers.
Sh<* distsibuted pieces of white, blue
and red cloth and a white star and' a
small stick which we were to make
the flag of Texas. In our last club
meeting she told each of us to do
something to improve our bedrooms
before next meeting and be able to
tell what we did at the meeting. Only
two had improved their bedrooms.
Miss Day told ua about the trip to
Fort Worth the 4-H boys and girls
were going to make on March >1(5
1936. We are planning on spending
one day and "what we are going to
do is nobody's business", says Miss
Day. Our lunch that day will be serv-
ed as cheap aa possible by a place In
Fort Worth. We are hoping we will
all get to go and we are sure those
who go will enjoy a nice time. Our
next meeting will be the second Tues-
day in February.
Members present were: Elizabeth
Alls, Eupha Mae Hill, Bessie Tram-
mel, Ix>reta Mullen, Loleta Adair,
