This writer hopes something i.-
really done about highway 18; It
something isn't done this time it may
be a long time before an opportunity
ppresents itself as it is now. All that
is needed is a right-of-way trrough
the county and the work can start on
the road. We must not slop until the
road is completed.
Centuries ago it was said all roads
-ico to Uo|e| If all Stonewall comi-
ty roads werp hard surfaced and led
to Aspermont, you would be surprised
a, the business this town could do.
Aspermont is the county seat and
leading trading point of Stonewall
county. There is enough people hi
thin county to support 3,000 folks :n
Aspermont. If this town iiad a good
ill, aire and few other business places
there would lie no need for people to,
journey over to Hamlin and Stamford
a/- they <lo now.
When all road, lead to Aspermont,
UH re will be a jfreat difference, in i1"-'
city's business.
