the premiums woul<
lower, but you wouk
posit a sum large em
the cash value of si
payment life policy three years,
it would have a certain qash value.
If you at this time converted a
term policy to a 20-pay life three
years old, you would have to pro
vide that fund to bring such a
policy up to date.
. The other plan is to convert
your term insurance at the pres-
ent age, and if you have excess
funds such as a terminal leave
bond, you can pay premiums in
advance and get 3 per cent dis-
count. In event of your death, all
premiums beyond the current
month are returned, in addition
to the payment of the amount of
insurance involved.
Veterans should not be in too
big a hurry to convert, but should
wait until they know where they
stand financially. In many cases
it is better to convert a part of
it at the time, leaving the bal-
ance as term insurance.
